Building a Better Hub, Together At SLCA, we believe in the power of community spirit. Our calendar is packed with fundraising events and hands-on working days that allow us to keep our facilities in top shape. These days aren’t just about repairs; they are about upskilling our members and working side-by-side to improve our local hub.

🌳 Help Our Community Grow: The Giving Tree Challenge

Hey everyone! Jen here from Solihull Lodge Community Centre.

We have a colorful new mission for our amazing community! We are working hard to upgrade our Main Hall and reach our £15,000 fundraising goal.

Our trusty blue chairs have served us well over the years, but they are officially ready for retirement. We want to replace them with vibrant, modern seating and add more of the bright, versatile tables you’ve seen in the hall. Every donation helps us create a more comfortable, inspiring space for everyone to gather, eat, and connect.

✨ How You Can Help

Check out our Giving Tree and choose a branch to support:

  • 🍃 Add a Leaf: £5 — Every leaf helps our tree grow!
  • 🪑 Fund a Chair: £63 — Put your name on a piece of the Centre’s future.
  • 🎨 Fund a Table: £200 — Provide a sturdy space for groups to create and collaborate.

  • New Seating: £12,000
  • Updated Tables: £3,000

Our Big Restoration Project!

🏗️ Help Us Finish the #BigRestoration!

We are making incredible progress on the #BigRestoration of Solihull Lodge Community Centre, but our journey to fully refurbish this beloved hub isn’t over yet.

✨ Look How Far We’ve Come!

Thanks to your incredible support, we have already successfully completed the first stage of our #BigRenovation. Our spaces have been transformed:

  • Grafton Hall, Haven, and Lodge have all received essential, modern makeovers.
  • New Accessible Facilities: Our toilets have been upgraded to ensure the Centre is inclusive for everyone in our community.

🔍 The Next Step: Building for the Future

To move forward, we need to focus on the “bones” of the building. Our current fundraising goal is dedicated to the vital technical work that keeps the Centre safe and functional for years to come.

We are currently raising funds for:

  • A Comprehensive Structural Report
  • A Professional Drains Survey
  • Continued Refurbishment of the remaining building areas.
