Unfortunately we are not able to host 16-25 birthday parties or New Years Eve parties.

Set up and pack down

The booking system is live which means people can book next to your booking. Therefor please include the time you need for setting up your party/event/booking and packing it all away.

Note: For bookings which finish at 11pm, we all need to be off site (including the carpark) by 11pm having packed everything away and cleaned up.

Deposits, Damage and Complaints

There is a £300 damage/behaviour deposit for all party/event bookings unless otherwise agreed. We will aim to refund this within 7 days of your booking, providing there have been no issues or damages caused. This is to ensure we all have the best time, our beautiful Centre is taken care of and our neighbours are looked after too, lot’s of people/noise can be really intimidating.

Facilities

Grafton Hall – is a medium sided hall with a wooden floor, perfect for large groups, parties, events and the like.

It has access to a kitchen which has a table top cooker and a microwave. It is suitable to serve and prepare light buffets with a small amount of food which needs heating/cooking such as Pizza’s and party snacks.

It also has access to the bar which serves single serve alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks as well as hot drinks. The bar in manned by our on-site volunteers.

The hall also has access to an enclosed garden area.

For music the hall hosts a sound limiter which the DJ/Music system would need to be plugged into. It has enough seating for 60 people and still have a space to dance or put an inflatable!

Haven – Is our meeting room, it is set out in a board room style, ideal for collaborating, hosting meetings and smaller groups such as craft clubs.

It has access to a drinks station and is accessed from the smaller of the two entrances. Access to the toilets is back outside and through into the main entrance.

Coming soon Lodge – Is our office space where people will be able to rent a desk for the day. It houses four touch down desks which are ideal for those who can work remotely but would like some company.

Car Park – We have a carpark which holds 25 cars in total (we have one accessible parking bay), there is no available on street parking

Make a booking

If you are interested in renting the hall please add your booking request to our calendar by clicking the + icon at the top of the day you wish to book and fill in the form!

NOTE – booking requests MUST be fully completed with the details of your booking and how many people are due to attend for your booking to be considered!

If you are trying to book at short notice (<3 days in advance) the + icon will not be available for those days, please email us directly – bookings@slca.org.uk

SLCA Bookings Process

  1. You put a booking request into our calendar on the website!
  2. We reach out if we need any further details
  3. We allocate staff
  4. We issue an invoice for your hire fees and deposit (where applicable)
  5. You pay the invoice
  6. We confirm your booking
  7. You turn up & have fun!
  8. We return your insurance deposit if there have been no issues

Hirers will be bound by our Hirers Agreement when using the venue


For regular hire, once you have found a suitable slot email bookings@slca.org.uk to arrange for a meeting with the Trustees to discuss what you’d like to bring to our hub.

Solihull Lodge Community Centre is based to the side of Grafton Road, just off Solihull Lodge High Street

Boasting a medium sized main hall and a smaller side room, combined with an enclosed outside space, kitchen and bar facilities as well as on-site parking for up to 25 cars, we are well situated for handling various event types including classes, meetings, parties and more.
